2. Warranty Coverage

Radwag USA, LLC, warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase through the duration of the warranty period. Our warranty covers both electronic and mechanical parts, addressing manufacturers' defects. The warranty does not cover misuse, alterations, or unauthorized modifications.

3. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damages resulting from negligence, accidents, misuse, or exposure to harmful materials.
  • Unauthorized service or modifications.
  • Data loss during service.
  • Normal wear and tear or damages due to electrical system failures and inappropriate cleaning habits.
  • Damages due to overloading or environmental factors such as extreme temperatures and humidity.

4. Warranty Claim Process

Provide the serial number of your system and complete the Service Request Form (SRF) before sending the equipment for service. Ensure the equipment is returned in its original packaging to minimize damage during transportation. If the original packaging is not available, Radwag can provide a replacement at a small cost.

5. Repair and Replacement Policy

Our modern approach to warranty service includes:

  • Assessing the defect and determining whether repair or replacement is necessary.
  • Ensuring that repairs or replacements are conducted by authorized Radwag service centers to maintain warranty validity.
  • The client is responsible for the shipping costs of sending the product to Radwag for service under the warranty. During the first year of the warranty period, Radwag will cover the shipping costs for returning the product to the client after a warranty service is completed. After the first year, the client is responsible for both the shipping costs to and from Radwag.
  • Service Timeline: If parts are in stock, we aim to provide a completed service within 3 days of the product being received at our facility.

6. Limitations of Liability

Radwag USA, LLC, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products under the terms of this warranty.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Proper Usage:

  • Installation:
    • Ensure the balance is placed in a vibration-free, draft-free, and dust-free environment with an ambient temperature between +10°C and +40°C, and relative humidity not exceeding 80%.
    • Position the balance on a stable surface, away from heat sources and vibrations.
    • Prevent magnetic interference when weighing magnetic objects.
    • Ground the balance’s base to prevent static electricity from affecting the weighing results.
  • Operation:
    • Center loads on the weighing pan to avoid measurement errors.
    • Ensure the load does not exceed the balance's maximum capacity.
    • Allow the balance to reach thermal stabilization before starting measurements.

Calibration:

  • Perform both internal and external calibrations regularly to maintain measurement accuracy.

Maintenance:

  • Disconnect the balance from the mains before cleaning.
  • Remove the weighing pan and other detachable components for cleaning.
  • Use a handheld vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the weighing chamber.
  • Use appropriate solvents for cleaning, avoiding alkaline solutions for glass panes and abrasive substances for all components.
  • Clean ionizer covers at least once a month with a lint-free cloth soaked in an alcohol-based solution.

Routine Checks:

  • Inspect the balance regularly for signs of damage or wear.
  • Ensure all peripheral equipment is properly connected and only use recommended accessories.

Warranty Compliance:

  • Radwag is responsible for repairing or replacing faulty components due to manufacturing or design defects.
  • Only authorized Radwag service centers should perform repairs.
  • The warranty does not cover damages from improper use, overloading, exposure to extreme conditions, or unauthorized repairs.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance and calibration activities.

8. Transferability

The warranty provided by Radwag USA, LLC, is affixed to the product and not to the original purchaser or any subsequent owner. The warranty remains valid for the entirety of the warranty period, regardless of any change in product ownership.

9. Governing Law

All disputes concerning this warranty or claims arising out of the sale or use of products manufactured by or purchased from Radwag USA, LLC, shall be adjudicated exclusively in the Court of Miami-Dade County, Florida.

10. Additional Support and Services

  • Technical Support: Radwag offers technical support to assist clients with any questions or concerns regarding the use, maintenance, or troubleshooting of their products.
  • Software and Firmware Updates: Software updates are provided by Radwag at no extra cost during warranty or out-of-warranty service.
  • Extended Warranty Options: Information on extended warranty options is available upon request.

Return Policy for Laboratory Balances and Scales

1. Return Eligibility

Products must be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in original, unused condition with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation. Proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or invoice) is required for all returns.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Customized or personalized products.
  • Items marked as non-returnable or final sale.
  • Products that have been used, altered, or damaged after delivery.
  • Consumables and perishable items.

3. Return Process

Provide your order number and reason for the return. Our customer service will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. Products must be shipped back to Radwag USA within 14 days of receiving the RMA number. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective product or an error on our part.

4. Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned product. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, except in cases of defective products or errors.

5. Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the desired exchange item is not available, a refund will be issued instead. The exchange process follows the same steps as the return process.

6. Defective or Damaged Products

If a product is defective or damaged upon receipt, contact customer service immediately. Provide detailed information about the defect or damage, including photos if possible. Radwag USA will cover the shipping costs for returning defective or damaged products and will either repair, replace, or refund the product at no additional cost to the customer.

7. Restocking Fees

A restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied to returned items that are not defective or damaged.

8. International Returns

International customers are responsible for return shipping costs, duties, and taxes. Refunds for international returns will be issued for the product price only, excluding original shipping fees.

9. Warranty and Return Interactions

If a returned product is found to be defective under our warranty terms:

  • The product will be repaired or replaced at no additional cost.
  • If repair or replacement is not feasible, a full refund will be issued.
  • For warranty claims, the return shipping costs are covered by Radwag USA during the first year of the warranty period. After the first year, the customer is responsible for shipping costs both ways.
